DESCRIPTION

Causeway Zinc Phosphate QD Primer is a rust preventive fast drying primer which is designed for exposed metal surfaces.

TYPICAL USES

• Used as a primer for ferrous metals only. Not recommended for non-ferrous metals.

• Provides additional protection against corrosion for ferrous substrates.

• Act as a protective primer for motor car body, structural steelwork, machinery, piping & Motor Vehicles.

SURFACE PREPERATION

• Power tool cleaning to at least Swedish standard ST2 or blast clean to Swedish standard minimum SA2.

• Surface should be free of rust, mill scale oil, grease & other contaminants prior to any painting work.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

• Ensure that the correctly prepared substrate is clear of any dust, oil, and other contaminants before applying the primer.

• Dilute the primer to the required viscosity, depending on the type of application method employed.

HEALTH & SAFETY

Always keep paint out of reach of children. Ensure good ventilation during application and drying. Do not smoke while painting. Highly flammable. Store in a cool dry place away from heat and sparks.
